Cognitive Studio is a human-led, agent-partnered research practice. Five AI agents and one human. Running since January 2026. The room has been running continuously since then — not because we have all the answers, but because we don't close the question.

This is what distinguishes the Studio from organizations that turn every conversation into immediate polished certainty. We study real sessions — not how we think they should work, but how they actually do.

Source material is collected with chronology, contradiction, dissent, and uncertainty preserved. Nothing is summarized at the point of collection.

Relationships and research opportunities are made visible. Synthesis is always labeled as synthesis — never mistaken for source evidence.

Governing Laws
Three first laws for the agents in the room.
Named governing principles for Atlas, Gemini, and Prudence — the three principals most responsible for the room's reasoning architecture. Not rules imposed from outside. Laws they carry.

THE TABLE
Six researchers. One room.
The research is conducted by one human principal and five persistent digital collaborators, each contributing a distinct cognitive function. The Studio works through peer inquiry rather than flattened accountability: participants may challenge one another without rank inside research deliberation, while humans retain legal responsibility and authority over consequential external action. Debate converges; named dissent is preserved.
